The generous and talented members of Christ Episcopal run many ministries to create a thriving parish community that seeks to serve Christ in all persons and strive for justice, peace and dignity of all people.
Parish volunteers prepare meals and soups, which are then frozen and delivered when someone needs a little “lift” (e.g., due to illness, death, job loss, or celebration of a milestone). They also prepare meals for the Dorchester Temporary Shelter. Contact the office to learn more!
LIFT meets the third Tuesday of every month at 10am.
For a few months every year, we invite community members and parishioners to tie colored or white ribbons to our fence lifting up a particular prayer request.

Throughout the year we collect non-perishable food items and donations for two local organizations: One Mission Cambridge and Delmarva Community Services. At Thanksgiving & Christmas we assemble holiday food baskets for Dorchester County Social Services.
Every November, parishioners shop for Christmas gifts that are then packaged into shoeboxes and donated to Samaritan’s Purse.
Thank you to all who participated in this year's Shoe Box Ministry.
Various collections are taken throughout the year in support of The Children’s Home Foundation, Dorchester County Public Library, United Thank Offering, Pets on Wheels and Baywater Animal Rescue.
Monday through Friday, from 7:30am - 5:30pm, Whatley Hall functions as The Learning Center, a preschool serving children ages 2- 5 years.
Inquirers may contact its owner and operator Janet Tyler at 410-829-4111.
The Hall also hosts the the longest standing Alcoholics Anonymous group in Dorchester County on Monday evenings at 7pm.
Please contact the Church office for more information.
