Robin Abbott has worked at Christ Church, Cambridge for over 30 years. Robin is the face behind the newsletter, the voice on the phone, and the welcoming, graceful presence greeting everyone who walks through the office door. Robin keeps us organized and on time, managing our bookkeeping as well as creating the service bulletins, directories, and annual reports. When asked what has kept her here for so many years, Robin shared: “I love the people at Christ Church, they are caring; they are like family to me. I can learn and get great advice from friends I respect and care for here. My best friends are members of Christ Church!”
James Thompson has worked at Christ Church, Cambridge for over 40 years. James is often the first person to greet and invite people into our sanctuary if they are strolling by and are interested in our beautiful space. James is quick to lend a helping hand and is responsible for caring for the church grounds as well as all interior spaces. When asked what has kept him here for so many years, James shared: “When I think about being a part of Christ Church for so long, I think about being the DJ for the Fun Dog Show, grilling hot dogs at the Church picnics, serving on the Pancake Supper Kitchen Crew, and helping with the Christmas Parade booth!”
